I am a piano teacher living and working in Wantage, UK. I have been playing the piano since I was seven, and I still love it now.

Lessons

Time and Days

Lessons are for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or one hour between 4pm and 6:30pm at my home studio on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Individual Lessons

I am happy to provide one-on-one lessons to students. After assessing your current level, we will choose the pieces you will be learning and method book. The lessons come with a practice plan so your progress can be tracked.

Pricing

First lesson is free! Contact me by email to book it.

£20 for 30 minutes, £28 for 45 minutes, or 1 hour for £35.

I usually offer each student one lesson per week. This way you will have time to practice before the next lesson.

My Profile

Piano

I grew up in Sydney, Australia, and started learning the piano at age seven. I have always loved the piano and was always drawn to it at a very young age. I believe that music is a part of us, waiting to be discovered.

Teaching and Achievements

I have completed an Advanced Diploma of Music (Adv.Dip.Mus) from the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music, New South Wales (NSW) Australia and my A.Mus.A (Associate) Diploma from the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) in Classical Piano performance. I have also completed Grade 6 Musicianship theory (AMEB).

Whilst in Sydney, I was teaching at a music center for a few years. I have experience in teaching piano to children and adults of all ages and abilities. I have also experience in piano accompaniment for instrumentalists and singers. It is a rewarding experience for me to hear students progress and reach their goals in music making.

I am also a full member of the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA UK).

Extra Info for Pupils/Parents

People with all abilities and ages are welcome. Students can prepare for examinations in piano performance (ABRSM or Trinity) and also music theory exams if you wish, or simply play for fun. Depending on the genre you prefer, I can teach you classical piano or modern, eg. pop/rock etc.

I also encourage my students to enter local Piano Competitions and attend Piano music festivals/Piano masterclasses to gain confidence and an appreciation for music. I also organise around three Piano Recitals a year for my students that are interested in performing to a friendly and supportive audience.

I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
